This is a documentary I made in response to the research I had gathered for my dissertation on Kawaii culture from Japan and its effects on the west and women’s issues. This is a culture that I have been involved in for ten years so it felt natural for me to research this topic. I decided to base this documentary on what I had researched but also framing it through my own experience.
